I think we make skincare way harder than it needs to be. The truth is your skin’s needs change as you get older, but you do not need to fill your bathroom with dozens of bottles. The key is knowing what your skin needs at your age, giving it that, and supporting it from the inside out with the right foods.

Your 20s: Protect and Build Good Habits


Your skin is still young and full of bounce right now. This is your time to protect it from the damage you cannot see yet.


What your skin needs:

  • Sun protection every single day

  • Light hydration to keep your skin soft

  • Gentle cleansing that does not strip your skin


What to use:

  • SPF 30 or higher daily

  • Lightweight moisturizer

  • Gentle face wash

  • Antioxidant serum like vitamin C


What to eat:

  • Berries, oranges, and leafy greens for vitamin C
