Is It Just Me Or Is Everyone Acting Wild Lately?

I don’t know if it’s the times we’re living in, the internet, or just a shift in the way people are wired, but lately, things have been feeling… off.

And not just a little off. Weird shit is at an all-time high.

It feels like every time you turn around, there’s drama somewhere.

Friendships ending.

People throwing shade behind your back.

Someone trying to undercut you for no reason.

And it’s not just in one circle. It’s everywhere.

Where Did Loyalty Go?

I grew up believing in loyalty, in showing up for the people you care about.

These days, it feels like loyalty is some old myth.

People you thought had your back?

They’re the same ones waiting for a moment to see you fall.

  • Coworkers will smile in your face and plot behind the scenes

  • Family can be some of the most toxic people you know

  • Friends can switch up on you without warning

The Snake Behavior

It’s like being genuine is out of style.

I mind my business, stay in my lane, and yet somehow people still find a way to try me.

And it’s never the kind of petty stuff you can laugh off.

It’s the kind of betrayal that makes you question how people can sleep at night.

What gets me is that they’ll do things to me that I would never even think of doing to them.

Not in a million years.

Not because I’m perfect, but because I have a heart.

Watching You Build Just To Tear You Down

There’s a whole breed of people who will sit there watching you put in the work.

They’ll watch you climb, cheer you on in public… all while secretly hoping you fail.

Why? Because your win makes them feel less than.

Here’s the truth:

  • Some people want you to do well, just not better than them

  • Insecure people project their own fears onto others

  • Not everyone is rooting for you, even if they act like it

Why I Stay To Myself

At this point, my peace is priceless.

That’s why I spend most of my time at home.

Not because I’m antisocial, but because protecting my energy and peace is more important than being around fake smiles.

I’m the type of person who genuinely wants to see everyone win.

I don’t want to see anyone down bad, because I know how that feels.

But lately I’ve been wondering… do people even think like that anymore?

Do they even have that kind of heart?

Have you noticed this shift too?

If so, why do you think people are acting this way?
